Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of AI Visibility Grader (visibility-grader.uncoverseo.com), a service provided by Uncover SEO ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

What the service does

You give us a business's name, website, town and category. We look at public information (its public Google profile, website homepage and web search results) and produce a report scoring how visible the business is likely to be to AI assistants and local search, with suggested fixes. Some scans are free and limited in number; we may change or end the free service at any time.

Reports are guidance, not guarantees

  • Reports are produced partly by AI and from public information that may be incomplete or out of date. They can contain mistakes.
  • Scores and suggestions are our assessment, not a measurement taken by Google or any AI assistant.
  • We do not promise that following a suggestion will improve your rankings, visibility, traffic or sales.
  • Drafts we generate (descriptions, replies, posts, FAQs) must be checked and completed by you before use. You are responsible for anything you publish.

Using the service properly

  • Give accurate information, and only scan businesses you have a genuine reason to assess.
  • Don't try to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or bypass the limits of the service, or use it to harm others.
  • Don't use it for anything unlawful or to mislead people about a business.
  • Keep your account details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.

We may limit, suspend or remove access if these terms are broken or to protect the service.

Shared report links and badges

Each completed report has a link that anyone holding it can open, and you can embed a badge on your own site. You're responsible for choosing who you share them with. A badge shows a score from a scan on a particular date; it is not an endorsement or certification by us or Google, and you must not present it as one.

Connecting a Google Business Profile

Connecting a profile (currently an internal feature operated by Uncover SEO) is optional and uses Google sign-in. By connecting a profile you confirm that you are authorised to manage it and to allow the changes you choose. We change a profile only for items you tick and confirm, and we log each change. You're responsible for the content you approve and for complying with Google's own terms and policies for Business Profiles, which can affect your profile independently of us. You can revoke our access at any time in your Google account settings.

Third-party services

The service relies on providers such as Google, Anthropic and Supabase. We don't control them, and changes or outages on their side may affect the service.

Our content and your content

The service, its design and the report format belong to Uncover SEO. You keep ownership of information you provide. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service, and you may use the reports we generate for your own business purposes.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time, and we may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, the service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the service or reliance on a report. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to £100 for free use of the service.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer you keep any rights you have to bring a claim where you live. Questions about these terms: contact us through uncoverseo.com.
